Cancellations & Refunds

If you must cancel your booking, please call our office immediately  at +1-802-222-6320 and then send written notice by email at info@pathplaintravel.com. Cancellation fees will be applied per person according to the following schedule, based on the date we receive your written notification, not when you send it or notify us by phone: 

STANDARD PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Payments are due as follows: 

• After initial consultation: $500 to proceed with trip planning
• At booking: Deposit of 25% of trip cost, plus full payment for any permits and internal airfare (if applicable) 
• 90 days prior to departure: Balance due (unless otherwise specified in the trip documents) 

Cancellation fee schedule: 

• More than 90 days: Deposit only*
• 90 to 61 days before departure: 50% of the trip price 
• 60 to 31 days before departure: 75% of the trip price 
• 30-0 days prior to departure: 100% of the trip price 

*Please note: Payment, cancellation and transfer schedules may vary. These exceptions will be clearly indicated in the detailed itineraries for such trips. Internal airfare, government permits, or pre- or post-travel arrangements purchased on your behalf by PATH+PLAIN Travel may be subject to different cancellation policies. In the event that we make arrangements for you that require payment of non-refundable deposits to suppliers, we may subtract any such deposit from any refund due to you.
